Description

MediaBeacon gives users access to the HELIOS server over the internet. MediaBeacon users can search for any digital assets (images, documents, sounds, movie files, ...) online or in archives. MediaBeacon automatically synchronizes with the HELIOS server, and even multiple file servers can be presented through one MediaBeacon server. If a file is modified, the changes are automatically made visible via MediaBeacon. The built-in SQL database is fully customizable to allow for individual metadata configuration. Full upload and download capabilities extend the server-based workflow to any remote customer.

Description

imageConvert is a server based "hot folder" solution that allows you to convert image files into different file formats and color spaces. The actual conversion is carried out by the HELIOS ImageServer software. If HELIOS PDF HandShake is also installed on the server, imageConvert is able to convert PDF files into several different file formats and color spaces.

If the same conversion has to be carried out many times, imageConvert can help to simplify and accelerate this process considerably. Users simply copy the files to be converted into a "hot folder" on the server and they are automatically converted. The kind of conversion is simply defined within the folder name.
Color space conversion is done with the HELIOS color management system and can be managed using ICC profiles. The user simply copies the source and output profiles to the relevant subfolders of the "ICC-Profiles" volume.

PDFopiresolve uses the feature of PDF-native OPI from HELIOS PDF HandShake UB and offers a very comfortable way of use.
PDF resolving is done in a HELIOS Script Server hot folder.
The original and resolved PDF files are placed in adequate subfolders. In case of an error the files are placed with an error report to a specific error folder.
Existing file name prefixes and suffixes can be exchanged or added to mark the resolved file.

The configuration can be done with HELIOS Admin or FlowView Pro from Macademy. With additional options PDFopiresolve can be integrated smoothly into the workflow.
