1. World of HELIOS: HELIOS UB+ testers wanted
Things are happening fast – a few weeks ago, we launched the HELIOS UB successor called UB+. Already, our internal production servers have been switched to UB+, and many sites are testing UB+ right now. Today we are pleased to announce the immediate availability of an updated UB+ test release called preview 3.
Don't miss our 20 minute UB+ movie which gives you an overview of HELIOS products and presents the UB+ highlights. This is a great starting point for early adopters who want to begin evaluating UB+. HELIOS is keen to receive your feedback to ensure that UB+ works great in any environment.

2. Superior PDF and PostScript rendering quality
We are glad to announce that our UB+ rendering engine used for PDF document previews within WebShare, and for preview generation via hot-folders or cmd line has received revolutionary quality enhancements for rendering fonts into low-resolution previews.
Today's low-resolution previews require different rendering technologies compared to a 2500 dpi RIP process. We are proud to meet the highest quality standards even for low resolution previews. The easiest way to check out our new preview quality is to download UB+ and click on a PDF file within WebShare.
3. Intro to WebShare Brandings
The cool new WebShare UB+ interface takes advantage of many Web 2.0 features. And you can now easily customize that interface via the WebShare Branding Editor GUI without any programming. Icon families of different design, color, and size are also included!
WebShare can incorporate your own corporate look and feel, or present a custom interface to each user. This is a great feature to make your clients feel "right at home".
4. UB+ brings XPress 7 document previews
ImageServer UB+ includes XPress and InDesign Plug-Ins to automatically save document previews of each page into a HELIOS XPV file. The easiest way to make use of it is via HELIOS WebShare. Simply click on an XPress or InDesign XPV file and a multi-page preview is presented right away. Additional zooming and page number selection allows easy remote document proofs. Every time the user saves an XPress or InDesign document a click within WebShare shows the latest changes, enabling easy coordination and content verification. UB+ (preview 3) now includes the XTensions for XPress 7 Mac and Windows. Support for InDesign CS3 is scheduled to be available in one of the next UB+ previews.
