1. World of HELIOS: HELIOS UB+ arrives
HELIOS has worked steadily on the HELIOS UB successor for the past several years, and now it's time to get it into your hands. The new versions, called UB+, were presented for the first time during our international distributors meeting last month. I can tell you we all had a lot of fun. To share this exciting news with you, we produced a movie of the event. The movie, available on the HELIOS web site, presents an overview of the UB+ highlights, and includes download instructions for the preview test drive. See you at www.helios.de.

2. All new WebShare UB+ is here
A very sexy HELIOS WebShare server was spotted recently, sporting an all new interface. Known for its security and performance, WebShare UB+ can also claim great looks. That's right! More than one look, or "branding", can now be defined, allowing a custom interface per client. Dressed in a new Web 2.0 GUI, WebShare can change its look to suit the occasion (no programming needed!). In addition, it is very productive, with fast server file searches, document facing page views, file comments, and a new preview/proofing window. Great looks, tight security, and high performance! WebShare is the total package. Log in to the HELIOS WebShare UB+ server, and see for yourself.

HELIOS sent a team to the recent Apple WWDC Conference in San Francisco, to learn all the latest Apple development news. Sorry, we can't divulge any secrets, but we can let you know that the 5.000 attendees (40% more than last year!) and 1.200 Apple engineers spent a very productive week exchanging technical information. This event really helps HELIOS produce the best products for our Mac based customers. There was also much excitement about the iPhone; we can disclose more in our next newsletter.
4. Apple Leopard – deal or no deal
The upcoming Apple Mac OS X 10.5, aka Leopard, comes with major new features, like Quick Look document previews within the Finder, Time Machine (a very easy to use personal backup solution), performance and stability improvements, and ease of use enhancements. Leopard clients work fine with HELIOS UB servers. The new HELIOS UB+ release is required to turn Leopard into a HELIOS server. Leopard should ship this October which matches the estimated UB+ timeframe. It is it worth the wait, a pretty good deal.
